Yes, the NEET 2025 exam pattern has been changed. NTA announced the change in the exam pattern on January 25, 2025, to enable candidates prepare accordingly. The optional questions have been removed. Instead of 200 questions, there will now be 180 questions. The total duration of NEET 2025 has been reduced from 200 minutes to 180 minutes or three hours now. Announcing the same, NTA has stated, “Aspirants are hereby informed that the question paper pattern and examination duration will revert to the pre-COVID format. where there will not be any Section B anymore. Hence, there will be a total of 180 compulsory questions (45 questions each in Physics and Chemistry and 90 in Biology) which will be attempted by the candidates in 180 minutes thereby removing any optional questions and extra time introduced due to COVID.”

According to the existing pattern, NEET SS will comprise one paper of 150 multiple-choice questions, from broad speciality and super speciality course. No, the SSC CHSL 2025 exam pattern has not been changed. Earlier, the Commission changed the exam pattern for the SSC CHSL exam in 2022 to expedite the recruitment process. SSC CHSL exam is now be conducted in two tiers as mentioned below: Tier 1 and Tier 2. The Tier 1 Examination consists of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions are set in English and Hindi. There is negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. The SSC CHSL Tier 2 Examination is conducted in two sessions - Session I and Session II, on same day. Session-I will include conducting of Section-I, Section-II and Module I of Section III. Session II will include conducting of Module-II of Section III. Also, it is mandatory for the candidates to qualify all the sections of Tier 2. The Tier 2 consists of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for Module-II of Section III. The questions are set in English and Hindi except for Module II (I. e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section II. There is negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section I, Section II and Module I of Section III of the Tier 2 exam.
