National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) the exam conducting body of GPAT exam decides and releases the GPAT exam pattern. The GPAT exam syllabus is also released by NBEMS. The GPAT official notification revealed the updated GPAT exam pattern, which remained the same this year as well. Once the official notification is out, candidates can start applying for the exam. JMI Entrance Exam is conducted for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The exam pattern of all the courses is different. The pattern of some courses include only multiple choice questions, while some courses have a descriptive section as well. Yes, most of the time, the board also releases the exam pattern along with the BSEB 10 class time table. For the 2026 exams as well, the board will release the exam pattern along with the time table. The board mentions the minimum marks required to clear the exam. Students must note that the exam pattern details are mentioned in the time table. The preparation strategy should be made while keeping the exam pattern & time table in mind. Students are suggested to keep visiting the official website of the board for the latest update on the same.

The preliminary exam of SBI PO comprises the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. Total marks allotted to the test are 100. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. The prelims exam is only conducted to screen candidates for the Mains exam. The marks obtained in this stage are not counted for the final merit list.
