The best books for SAT Reading and Writing preparation are given below for reference:

  • The Ultimate Guide to SAT Grammar by Erica L. Meltzer
  • The Critical Reader: The Complete Guide to SAT Reading, 3rd Edition 
  • 2018 SAT Reading: World Literature Practice Book

Apart from these the applicants can look for online resources and materials to help support them with their preparation for SAT Reading and Writing section commonly referred to as RW. 

The applicants should also look for mocks and attempt them regularly so that there is enough practice in hand before appearing for the main exam on the set date.

The IAS prelims exam is an objective type exam. The IAS prelims is conducted offline and the candidates need to mark their answers on the answer sheet (OMR). There are two papers in the IAS prelims exam. The details of IAS prelims exam is given below:

  • General Studies Paper 1
  • General Studies Paper 2 ( Aptitude Test)

The Aptitude paper is qualifying only and the passing marks in the aptitude paper is  67.5 marks out of 200.

Some of the old SAT books or study guides can still prove beneficial, depending upon the topic of preparation for each section. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 13887 and closing rank was 16401 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Computer Science Engineering in BIT Mesra is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per BIT Mesra JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 16401 for General category candidates in All India quota for Computer Science Engineering. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Candidates will get all the details regarding the GMCET exam on their email address and mobile number which they used while registrating on the website. Candidates will be given a time slot to appear for the GMCET exam according to which they will have to attempt the exam. They will have to appear at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the examination. The test slots for the exam day will be informed a day before the examination on the registered email and mobile number of the candidate.
