With a JEE rank of 232,385, getting CSE in top NITs/IIITs is very unlikely. She may get CSE in lower-tier NITs, GFTIs, or state colleges, and should consider ECE, IT, or Mechanical as backup branches.

With a TNEA rank of 12,648 and a cutoff of 174 for Civil Engineering at Thiagarajar College of Engineering, your chances are very low.

  • The cutoff rank is much better (lower) than your rank.

  • You may not get Civil Engineering in this college through counselling.

  • Consider other branches or other colleges with higher cutoff ranks as backup options.

In GATE Civil Engineering counselling, seat allocation priority is: Institute preference → Category/reservation → GATE score → Branch preference → Counselling round. Fill choices carefully, as allotment depends mainly on score, rank, and reservation.

With a KCET rank of 52,000 for BE Computer Science & Engineering, getting into top Karnataka colleges (like RVCE, PES, BMSCE, MSRIT) is highly unlikely, as these usually require ranks within top 1,000–3,000.

You can consider:

  • Lower-tier NITs/Private colleges in Karnataka

  • State colleges with available CSE seats in later counselling rounds

  • Other branches like ECE, IT, or Mechanical as backup.

Upon getting to know your strengths and weaknesses in the academic English language, you can prepare a study timetable and work specifically on your weak areas first and then go on with preparing for the already strong areas. This way, you won't panic even if you have very le

No, the SU JEE 2026 centres do not have any provision to accommodate the candidates' parents. They need to wait outside the exam centre or come back later after SU JEE 2026 is over.

In such a case, a candidate does not have anyone to accompany them who can take care of their belongings. Candidates can also request the SU JEE 2026 centre authorities to deposit their personal belongings for the test duration. But the authorities will not be responsible for any loss of belongings.
