JAGMAT 2027: Registration (OPEN), Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern

Candidates can apply for PGDM admission by filling out the online application form available on the official JAGSoM website. No other mode is available for JAGMAT registration.

Jagdish Sheth Business & Management School, also known as JAGSoM, conducts JAGMAT every year for PGDM and MBA admissions. Besides JAGMAT, JAGSoM MBA admissions are also based on other national level MBA entrance exams, such as CAT, XAT, MAH MBA CET, NMAT, etc.

JAGMAT will be conducted for a duration of 90 minutes. No additional time will be provided to take JAGMAT exam.

Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSoM) conducts JAGMAT every year for PGDM admissions. In order to apply for JAGMAT entrance exam, candidates must appear for hold a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university. JAGMAT is an entrance exam conducted to evaluate candidates for admission to JAGSoM's postgraduate management programs. Candidates who do not have a score in any national level MBA exam can appear for JAGMAT.

JAGSoM Mumbai MBA Admissions are entrance-based. To secure admission at JAGSoM MBA candidates need to have valid score in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ MHCET/ MAT/ CMAT/. Additionally, the candidates need to appear for JAGMAT as well and score more than 40%. 

 Also, candidates who wish to pursue MBA ( 1 year in JAGSoM, Greater Mumbai + 1 year in Partner Business School (SUNY, KEDGE or University of Texas, Arlington) must also appear for IELTS or TOEFL as per the requirement of the partner schools.

No. JAGMAT exam does not have any sectional time limit. Candidates can answer questions from any section as per their convenience within the 90 minute window.

JAGMAT exam has a total of 75 questions. There are three sections in the JAGMAT exam. Each section has equal question weightage.

Candidates find multiple choice question type in the JAGMAT exam. Each question has four options with one correct option in JAGMT exam.

Sections as per JAGMAT syllabus include English Language Proficiency,  Quantitative Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. These sections are inline with other MBA entrance exams.

Each question of JAGMAT exam fetches 1 mark. There is no negative marking in JAGMAT exam.

Each section of JAGMAT exam has 25 questions. Therefore, candidates have to answer a total of 75 questions while taking JAGMAT exam.

The difficulty level of the JAGMAT exam is usually easy to moderate. Candidates who have prepared for other MBA exams find JAGMAT on the easier side.

For each question in the JAGMAT exam, there will be four options. Out of all the four answer options, candidates will have to choose the correct answer option.
