Pradeep Chauhan was the GATE 2025 topper in the electrical engineering branch, scoring 81.67 marks out of 100. His GATE score was 1000. In GATE 2025, around 83355 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 67701 candidates appeared for the test.

The WBJEE JECA 2025 exam will be conducted on October 19, 2025 (11 AM - 1 PM). Candidates are advised to stay updated with the WBJEE JECA dates 2025 so that they do not miss any important examination and admission-related events. THE WBJEE JECA 2025 application form can be filled out till September 17, 2025. For admission, the candidates will have to attempt and qualify for the entrance examination.

Balamurugan was the GATE 2025 topper in the Aerospace Engineering branch/discipline scoring 81 marks out of 100 (with a GATE score of 990 out of 1000). Last year, 7576 candidates registered for the GATE AE paper, out of which 6009 candidates appeared for the exam.

The reasoning and compulsory is a compulsory section in the GATE question paper. For humanities and social sciences, the reasoning and comprehension section contains 16 questions of 25 marks, where 7 questions will be of 1 mark and 9 questions will be of 2 marks.

Yes, candidates can download GATE question papers for free. The GATE exam papers are available in PDF format and can be downloaded for free. IIT Guwahati has activated GATE mock test 2026 link for students to practice.

GATE Engineering Mathematics carry 11 questions of 15 marks, out of which 7 questions is of one mark and 4 of 2 marks. Candidates must check pattern carefully before attempting GATE question paper. The engineering mathematics section is for following GATE papers: AE, AG, BM, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, ES, IN, ME, MN, MT, NM, PE, and PI.

No, SSN College of Engineering BTech admission is completely merit-based. It is not mandatory to have a JEE score for admission to BTech in this institute. However, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria.

Candidates appearing for GATE 2026 XL paper can check the exam pattern below -

  • General aptitude carries 15 marks
  • Chemistry (compulsory) section comprises 17 questions carrying a total of 25 marks (9 questions of 1 mark and 8 questions of 2 marks)
  • Each optional section (out of 2) in the GATE XL paper contains 19 questions of 30 marks (8 questions of 1 mark and 11 questions of 2 marks)
  • Total time duration is three hours. 
  • Exam mode is online.

Any candidate who wishes to switch the optional section during exam, must deselect the first one to answer.
