An Executive MBA or an EMBA is a business degree that is a lot like an ordinary MBA/ PGDM course. Still, unlike a normal MBA, an EMBA is designed to enrich the careers of already experienced professionals instead of students. Executive MBA is invariably a one year abridged course for professionals already serving. However, for pursuing Ph.D one needs to do a minimum of two years PG course. Hence if you have done normal MBA of two years you would be eligible for pursuing Ph.D.

If you have completed Masters in the English, you have a very good career option available in the lectureship and Research programme. The NET Exam is conducted every year in the month of June and December. To become eligible for the NET Exam, you need to complete Masters in the given field with 55 % marks (For women and reserved candidates the eligibility is 50 % marks). The age limit to appear in the NET Exam is 30 year for the Unreserved candidates (while for the Female and Reserved candidates the eligibility is 35 years). If you qualify the JRF Exam you will get scholarship worth INR 25,000 per month.
