Hi Vidi,
Executive MBA graduates receive pay rise of 16.8%. The rise represents an increase on the equivalent figure, of 14%, found in EMBAC's (Executive MBA council) survey last year, suggesting that the ROI (return on investment) of executive MBA programs is on an upward curve.

Hi Tiwari,
The program is specifically designed for working executives and entrepreneurs who aim to become transformational leaders in their respective organizations but are finding it difficult to pursue a full-time management programme.
The course content of the program is at par with the regular IIM Indore's Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP).
The program also includes the following: Simulations, Management games, Assignments, Presentations, Seminars, Role play, Term paper, Project work, Case discussions, Lectures.

Online degree options for executive MBA students have become very popular. This allows you to remain at your job and meet other responsibilities while you complete your degree. It is very important that the online school you choose to complete your degree program is accredited.

The online Executive MBA program is also beneficial to high-level employees who want to polish their business skills to qualify for similar positions at other corporations. The online Executive MBA equips you with the practical skills and knowledge you need to

Hey Gaurav,
Executive MBA is a course for candidates who work full time while pursuing an MBA, and are hence 'working executives' while they pursue an MBA. It is a part time, evening, distance learning or online program generally meant for people with 6 - 13 years of experience. IIMs provide good executive programs, though it is not equivalent to its regular MBA. It does provide a high ROI for the company you work and as an individual.
If you've less than three - four years experience in your line of work, consider going for Distance MBA to pick up some management oriented skill with which you can give a boost to your existing opportunit

Hi Anil,
As far as my research is concerned, placements in SIMS are great and there are students yet to be placed as well. (I can't give information about how many are left but I believe most of them are placed)
The average salary I see people discussing is somewhere around 7LPA plus or minus 50K. SIMS had ICICI bank in campus and gave 5.4LPA as well (Not sure if this info is very much correct).
As far as salary is concerned, you can negotiate with HR person if you are coming with work experience, but do not expect much, let's say If the company is giving 6LPA to fresher and you ask for 9LPA, it's a NO (Few company say Up to 2 years work-

Hi Tiwari,
Prospects wise and placement wise, both the courses- part time MBA and Executive MBA are almost same.
The difference is in duration of the course. In part time MBA, classes are usually held in the evening hours or in the weekends and holidays. Duration of the part time MBA program is usually of 3 years. While, executive MBA programs last for one years or less and designed for working managers and executives.
What really sets this program apart from many other MBA programs is the level of experience and insights that students bring to the program. In such programs student's professional experience and expertise becomes an inte
