Your work experience, which is one of the criteria, qualifies you to be eligible to apply for a part-time PGDM. However, it is a evening course and not an exclusive weekend course. If it is, then you may opt either. Payroll deals with handling employee's salary, deduction and payment whereas accounts has vast area such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reports, MIS, credit control etc. Where you get larger exposures. You should decide accordingly.

Usually account executives hunt for new business and account managers farm it after it gets hunted. However it varies a lot company to company. Typically an Account Exec is a new business hunter where an Account Manager is an existing customer farmer.
