Hello,
Your choice depends on a lot of factors like financial ability to pay, your profile, test score (if you go for regular MBA) etc. MBA in the US costs about 40-60 lakh for a two year course on an average. You can also look for Executive MBA options at IIM Bangalore, ISB Hyderabad and SP Jain Mumbai depending upon your location preference. Some colleges want that your executive MBA be sponsored by the company you are working for.

If you have the experience that the institute demands and is willing to take break from your job chores including a drop in your income and you are financially sound to afford your academic and related expenses for the duration of the course, then a full time executive MBA is advisable, but if you do not wish to break from your job, a DEB approved distance education MBA is advisable.

Sikkim Manipal, Amity, NMIMS, and IIBMS are some good colleges with fee structure below 5 lakh rupees. CAT is commonly accepted, but for NMIMS, you need to qualify NMAT exam.

Dear Ajit,
It is always good to move ahead by upgrading yourself on the career path that you are interested in, but as you have mentioned that you have 10 years of work experience in banking operations & Planning. I would highly recommend you to go for 2 years full-time MBA in banking and finance at Symbiosis College of Banking and Finance. The faculty members and placement facilities provided by them are very good. In case if you cannot pursue full-time MBA, then they also provide management development programs for the working professionals as well.
