Eligibility criteria : Candidates applying for admission to the MBA programme must have pursued at least a Bachelors Degree programme after twelve years of formal schooling with at least 50% marks at graduation
level (SC/ST: Passing Marks; OBC/PWD/CW: 45% as per the University Rules) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelors Degree may also apply.

1. 10 marks above 80% : 10 Point
2. 12th marks between 70-75% : 9 Points ( 15 points above 80%)
3. Graduation marks more than 60% : 15 Points
Further the weightage given to various components in selection at IIM Bangalore are given below.
1. CAT score : 25%
2. PI : 30%
3. What : 10%
4. Graduation : 10%
5.Class 12th : 5%
6. Class 10th : 10%
7. Work experience: 10%
So, from the above plan accordingly and secure above 99 percentile in CAT exam for better options.

As per the last year's statistics, for the General category, it's cutoff was 98.6%. They don't take your past academics into consideration. So practically, you just need to score more than 50% in graduation and clear off the cutoff. But if you look at the average age of the current students studying here, it's ranging between 26-28 years because of the work experience. So my advice is to go for the job after your graduation and simultaneously prepare for CAT.

Faculty of Management Studies, popularly known as FMS Delhi, is a constituent of Delhi University and is counted amongst the country's best management colleges. It was founded in 1954 on the campus of the Delhi School of Economics. The public business school founded the Association of Management Development Institutions of South Asia (AMDISA) and has collaborations with several international institutions.
