Let me first explain the procedure for admission in FMS. You must have a graduate degree with minimum 50% marks and they consider CAT score. The second round is followed by extempore, GD and PI. If you want to increase your chances then first target your CAT score at 99+, then improve your communication skills, keep practicing and work hard as the competition for FMS is fairly high

Last year's final cutoff was 90% around. After that you have minimal score in graduation, 12th and 10th. If you have 99%ile then the interview round is just a formality.

Dear, to be frank industry doesn't recognize part-time executive MBA. You have to do MBA full time i. e., either PGP or PGPX for career shift/job switch and good pay hike. However, executive MBA helps you to hone the additional skills which you may lack currently and many companies encourage their employees to pursue the same. Some companies give promotion to the employees who completes executive MBA from reputed institutes. So to answer in a nutshell, existing organizations may provide career growth for those who complete executive MBA but not the industry. Hope this helps.
Good Luck.

Hello Sumit, getting into FMS would need three basics things to prepare for: CAT, extempore, personal interview. Clearing it is an arduous task but not impossible.
1. Decide, if you want to study yourself or join an institute.
2. In order to make it there, you must go through each and every topic, even the one you feel are not at all important. Because, you never know what would be asked in an exam.
3. You would need to make a time table and strictly follow it.
4. Prepare notes- they help a lot in revising. Hope this helps you.
Thanks.

Hello,
Candidates must have completed Bachelor's degree (widely recognised) with at least 50% marks (SC/ST: passing marks; OBC/PWD/CW: 45% as per university rules) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree, equivalent qualification exam or are awaiting results can also apply.
Hope this helps.
