Dear Pranav, You may go to either countries as both are the places for your courses. If you are looking at Los Angeles or New York you would have more options to choose from in USA than in Canada. Both the counytries would be value for money & as Canadian dollar is almost 19 rupees lesser, I am sure would be a little more cost effective than USA.

Hi Likesh,
I do not know the course you are interested in joining at FTII. For all the courses the written test is in specific area including General Knowledge and General Mental Ability, except for screen play where written test is on screen play writing.

To clear the test, you should make yourself well versed in the history of indian cinema, music, literature and art, basics of photogaphy and cinematography, knowledge on recent events and developments in literature and cinema.
