It is advised that you initially clear 12th and prepare for FTII entrance. Once you clear the exam, you can get into the top institute of India. and pursue a course in direction.

Though you can pursue Film Technology you may be required to complete a foundation program or workshop in film studies prior to commencing the program as you have no background in this area. Applicants from every background normally are eligible to apply, having said that you must demonstrate your creativity and artistic skills through portfolios, audio-video supplementary requirements alongwith your application. Most importantly you must thoroughly start researching on universities and check the admission requirements etc if you are serious.
