Being an LPU alumnus I can proudly answer this question:Eleven students from Lovely Professional University have been selected to represent India at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, which will take place from July 23 to August 8, 2021. In Wrestling, Hockey Athletics, and Paralympics, the athletes will represent the United States. This is the biggest number of students from an Indian private university ever chosen for an Indian Olympic contingent. Manpreet Singh, the captain of the Indian hockey team and an LPU student, will be India's Flag Bearer during the Tokyo Olympics Opening Ceremony. Six other LPU students are members of the Indian Means Hockey Team. Wrestling, hockey, athletics (javelin throw and sprinting), and Paralympics will all feature LPU students. As my neighbor's daughter completed this programme from LPU and is now working in a production company. He is also doing modeling in magazines as a freelancer.
