In order to join an acting course in any acting or film institute, the minimum qualification has to be 10+2 from a recognized board of education. For now, you can join a theatre group in order to understand the various aspects and nuances of the acting field. Once you complete your 10+2, you can apply to the top acting institutes like FTII, Whistling Woods International, Satyajit Ray Institute of Film etc.

Every Institute has its own criteria. Some Institutes conduct a written test like FTII. Others will mostly conduct an audition to see your caliber.
