Hi,
Finance is a better option if you belong to commerce background and/or have a keen interest in making a career in the finance/banking sector. Else marketing would be ideal. Finance requires one to be well-versed with the accounting, banking related concepts as well as having great mathematical skills. Marketing needs one to be creative and practical, having a sound understanding of what's trending in the market/industry.

Certification with a formal degree will add value to your resume. Recruiters nowadays ask for extra certification also so obviously you will get some advantages over others.

Dear Manav Jain,
There is no specialisation like IT development in management programmes but there are courses like IT management or systems that you can adopt as specialisation. Wellingkar has got its own procedure like they expect good performance in GD and PI as well as a power point presentation along with your CMAT score. So, prepare well.
All the best.
