Sonali, after completing M.Com I would suggest that you prepare and give Banking exams for Probationary Officers position. Alternatively you try to gain some experience in the Accounts department of a Private sector business house. You will then learn the finer points of your field and can grow in your career sooner.

According to the rank secured. I am afraid you won't be able to get your desired stream. the rank for your desired stream should fall between 1-500(UR).
But for the best possible option go for the Counseling that is going on along with all the documents.
You can always have a chance if seats are left by the end of it.
If not go for Counseling round 2.

Saurabh, you can go for MBA general where in 3rd semester you will get to choose specializations. You can opt for both banking and finance. These days, there are some universities are offering specializations like financial marketing, banking and insurance, financial engineering and so on.
As for preparation, start preparing for CAT/ MAT etc , it will help you get admission in some of the good universities for MBA.
Good luck.

Hi,
During the first year of your college, which includes your first and second semesters, you will have lectures for 6 days. During the second year - for your thirds semester, the lectures will be there for six days during some weeks and for five days during some weeks; this is because the number of days will depend on your lectures. During the fourth semester, you will have lectures for three or four days during a week.
