A B.Sc. in Forensic Science is not directly offered by the University of Madras. However, similar courses like the B.Sc. in Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology, which includes forensic Science modules, are offered by associated colleges within the university, including Madras Christian College. These courses are available to students who want to study forensic Science professionally, or they can think about postgraduate forensic Science specialisations.

the timing of entrance exams can be a challenge for international students applying to Indian universities. The National Forensic Sciences University Admission Policy states that international students can request an exemption from the NFAT exam "in exceptional cases." Hence,  NFSU might consider alternative forms of entrance assessment for international students, especially those whose final exams coincide with the NFAT.
