Forensic Science

Over two years, SHUATS offered a postgraduate M.Sc. programme in forensic science. A candidate must graduate with a 57.0% GPA to be accepted into SHUATS' M.Sc programme in forensic science. SHUATS's M.Sc programme in forensic Science costs INR 1,44,000 in total tuition. In addition to the tuition, students must pay a one-time enrollment fee of INR 18,500 and a dorm cost of INR 28,000. 

Candidates who wish to study forensic Science must pass the appropriate entrance exams, which are given by some universities that offer forensic Science programs. 

At the UG level, Peoples College of Forensic Science and Cyber Security provides a 3 year B.Sc. in Criminology and Forensic Science course to the students. The median package received by students for B.Sc. CFS at Peoples College of Forensic Science and Cyber Security is approximately INR 348,000 during the placements.

Don't worry, you will be able to get into government college for Forensic Science. Admission to government colleges is entrance-based. Thus, you will have to appear for respective entrance exams of the universities, and if scored well, you will get your desired course. It has nothing to do with your class 12th marks as the admission process is enrance-based.

Candidate must qualify bachelor’s degree in Science/ Forensic Science/ Medicine/ Engineering/ Pharmacy/ Dentistry/ with at least 55% marks for  General/ OBC/ EWS category candidates and 50% marks or equivalent for SC/ ST and PWD category candidates.
