There are a lot of ways to find a part-time job in France. You can confirm the part-time job openings at your university. On top of this, you can ask about the research assistantship or graduate assistantship with your university and apply for that. You can also contact your professors/mentors and confirm the part-time job options. France also has various websites such as Indeed, Monster, Pole Emploi, etc., which can help you with your job hunt. You can create your profile on these websites and set your requirements as well. You may also seek help from your classmates, who may be locals, and learn about the available job options.

As mentioned earlier, overseas students from outside Switzerland, the European Union, and the European Economic Area can take up employment for a maximum of 964 hours every year, i.e. 20 hours every week. But there are some exceptions as well. So, if you're an international student who has been in France for at least two years and has been pursuing higher education for at least one year, you might be permitted to work for more than 20 hours every week. In such a case you will have to get your visa status changed from a student visa to a work visa or temporary residence permit for jobs that allow compensation.
