Assam University provides a 2-year full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) course. The programme aims to equip the students with comprehensive skills and in-depth understanding of the theory and practice of real-life-management within a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural setting. The specific objectives of the MBA programme are to enable the graduates to:

• understand and be able to analyse the socioeconomic, political, technological and ecological environment of businesses and their interfaces with society
• ·acquire state-of-the-art knowledge and skills in the basic disciplines and functional areas of management
• develop positive, dynamic and innovative attitudes to be able to manage change and contribute meaningfully to organisational growth in a fast-changing borderless world, and also
• develop values, sensitivity towards societal problems, and the urge to promote human well-being.

This programme aims towards creating skillful graduates with specialisation in Data Science and Data Engineering domain which emphasizes comprehensive knowledge through courses like data engineering, data visualization, data modeling, big data analytics and predictive analytics. 3.Bootcamps/ Datathons:Well-structured and short term, intense training sessions designed to prepare students for the practical reality through bootcamps. Students will be required to participate in various national and international competitions like Datathons.

The Eligibility of the programme is 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CUET.
