Sikkim University is located in Gangtok, the state capital of Sikkim. The university is currently operating from several rented buildings located along NH-10. The main administrative office of the university is located at Samdur, 6th Mile, Tadong. The permanent campus of the university is coming up at Yangang in South Sikkim. The nearest airport and railway station are Bagdogra and New Jalpaiguri, respectively.

Yes, Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok provides the gym and sports facilities to its students. The university is fully equipped and open 6 days a week for students and staff. The gym has different shifts that have been maintained for male and female users. There are respective gender trainers in the gym to monitor and provide continuous supervision to the gym members. The university provides free bus service to its students at fixed intervals.

No, Admission to PhD programme shall be in the beginning of each academic year and shall be done once in a year along with admission to other programmes of the University.

A. All applicants for Ph.D programme shall appear in the written entrance test followed by an interview to be conducted by the concerned Department.

If the candidate takes the Sikkim University Admission 2023 graduation then the candidate must be required the 50% marks in the 12th class. If the candidate from the SC/ST/OBC/PWD category then-candidate must be required the 45% marks in the 12th class. and the selection is based on merits
