GATE Process

Candidates can download all the GATE previous year's question papers from official website of GATE 2025 - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. They can also download the GATE previous question papers from the Shiksha page. Various foreign universities accept GATE scores. Universities might also have additional eligibility criteria that might be required to be fulfilled as well in order to get admission. Apart from securing admission to Master in Engineering (M.E.) and Master in Technology (M. Tech) programs in prestigious colleges across the country, the GATE score is utilized by most foreign universities to offer PG admission. Some of the foreign universities that accept the GATE scores are the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, Technical University of Germany and RWTH Aachen, Germany.

Candidates are given free choice to choose the GATE papers, however candidates should choose the papers which align with the qualifying degree. E.g; If a candidate have done B.Tech. in Civil Engineering he/she should choose CE GATE paper. Candidates are advised to check the GATE two-paper combination options while opting for second paper choice. 

The admission process for M.Tech at Jaypee University of Information Technology for non GATE candidate is mentioned below:

• JIIT Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) shall be conducted for the eligible candidates
• Admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in entrance test PGET conducted by JIIT
• The admission will be offered to the candidates as per the merit. The selected candidates will be
  notified by email
