Candidates who are interested in applying for M.Tech programmes at NITs, GFTIs, and CFTIs will have to apply via CCMT (Centralised Counselling for M.Tech). Those who want to apply for M.Tech programmes in IITs will have to apply through COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal). State and Private universities also have their own counselling processes based on GATE scores. To register for the GATE counselling, candidates have to visit the official website of CCMT. IISc Bangalore will release the GATE 2024 scorecard on March 23. Candidates will be able to download their scorecard up to May 31 from the GATE 2024 official website. After May 31, candidates will need to pay INR 500 for downloading their scorecards. The facility to download GATE scorecard 2024 will be available up to December 31.

It is to be noted that the GATE exam scorecard is valid for three years following the announcement of the results. Also, the admission counselling for M.Tech courses will be conducted by the COAP for courses offered by IITs, and the CCMT will conduct admission counselling for M.Tech programs offered by NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and CFTIs.

Those candidates who will be eligible must attend GATE 2024 counselling as per the schedule. The counselling process includes registration, choice filling, choice locking, seat assignment, document verification, and other stages. IISc Bangalore has released the GATE 2024 response sheet on February 16, 2024. GATE Answer key 2024 has been also released on February 19. The response sheets and GATE 2024 official answer key helps candidates calculate their probable score before the declaration of their GATE result. Candidates will be able to download the GATE 2024 response sheet online from the official website. Basically, response sheets are printed copies of candidates' marked answers during the GATE 2024 exam. The last date for the GATE 2024 registration was October 20 with late fees. The last date for GATE 2024 registration without late fees was October 12. GATE 2024 application form was available online on the IISc Bangalore official website. GATE 2024 registration link is gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The registration window opened on August 30, 2023. Candidates can apply for the GATE exam until the last date. Before filling out the GATE application form, it is advisable for the candidates to check the eligibility criteria. In case a candidate fails to fulfill any of the GATE exam eligibility conditions, then his or her candidature will be cancelled and he or she will not be able to download his or her GATE admit card for 2024.
