Yes, GATE scores are mandatory requirement for admission in full time M.Tech. Whereas M.Tech part time admissions are based on marks in qualifying degree.

The GATE scorecard is valid for three years for MTech admission. If a candidate has more than one valid GATE score, then he/she must use the one with better GATE score. One can download their result scorecard using enrollment ID and password.

Hello Anurup Roy, frankly speaking Bachelor of engineering in mechanical engineering stream is also one of the best that you are doing. Of course the emploibility of those with background of CSE is always better in the current scenario of the industry and the business. My opinion or suggestion would be to complete your Mechanical engineering with flying colours and then for post graduation you can switch over to this stream. Even otherwise after graduation you can do some courses which will take you into this stream of employment. The hostel fee at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad varies between INR 2,000 - INR 3,000. In the hostel, there are a maximum of 5 people per room. Only shared bathrooms are accessible. As for caution deposit, it depends on where you are from. If you've got in through EAMCET, it's INR 10,000, and if you're from other states, it's somewhere between INR 20,000 - INR 22,000.

The GATE exam pattern for ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) has been revised for GATE 2024. The exam will have Multiple choice questions, Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type NAT questions. For MSQ questions, candidates will have 4 options, out of which, candidates can choose one or more correct answers. There will be 1 mark and 2 mark questions in the exam. GATE 2024 ECE question paper shall contain a total of 65 questions with 10 questions on general aptitude and 55 questions on electronics and communication engineering.
