If you are dedicated for further studies, then you should improve further and appear again for GATE 2020. Then only you have very good career options. And, if you have good business options then it is also okay.

There is no meaning of marks in GATE. It depends on the rank and also in branch. If you are from MECH, CIVIL or EE, then only you can get your state government college. But, if you are from ECE, then you can apply for new NITS or IIITS.

AMIE is recognised by government. Of India and is valid for IES UPSC, GATE IES and government Jobs (where Eq. B.Tech degree is also mentioned).

Hello Dildi, Yes, a student can surely seek admission in M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering branch based on GATE score. But unfortunately unlike NEET, prospective students may have to appear for different exams other than GATE for admission.
