After completing class twelve with a background in humanities, one can acquire an undergraduate degree in geology or earth Science to become a geologist. This course might require subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and some preparatory courses may need to be taken. A student can opt for an M.Sc. in Geology or other specialised courses. Internships and field experiences are very important for practical knowledge.
