When you are applying to Germany for studies as an international student, you have to show funds of around Euro 8000 which is the expense of 1-year. The living expense includes accommodation, food, utility bills, commutation, etc. This amount is required in order to get the visa. On a per month basis, you will need around Euro850. How much you can earn more or save will depend on the salary you get which will depend on the job you are doing. Another advice will be that you compare the living expenses of the different places in Germany. Places like Munich and Cologne are expensive.

It depends on how low your marks are. If it is below 65%, you should not apply, as there is no chance. If your marks are below 50% then forget it.

To enter into any technical programme a solid background in mathematics is essential. The primary or main eligibility criteria is a very good Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Around 75% is least recommended for consideration by the high ranked universities. High quality projects and research work are also required. An additional English language test is required which is the IELTS.
