No, the Aadhaar Card is not accepted as an ID for entry into the GMAT exam centre. Indian applicants have to carry their passports as frm of identification. The passport should be valid and recent one applicable for international travels. In case applicants fail to present their passports, they will not be allowed to enter the GMAT exam centre and will have to lose on to the GMAT exam fee they paid. To re-appear, they will have to re-register for GMAT with the full fee again.

Yes, there is a provision to update the time and location for GMAT exam. Applicants can cancel and reschedule their exam date or test centre. There is a timeline based on which applicants can get a refund also if they cancel their appoitments well within time.

  • GMAT Online is available 24/7 on all days of the month and registrations can be last made 24 hours before the chosen time slot.
  • GMAT at test centre is available on almost all dates of a month. But here the time slots are limited, because of which last minute slot booking can be difficult (that is 24 hours before).
  • Also, the registration fee for GMAT Online is slightly higher than GMAT at test centre and there is no late registration fee for last minute registrations.

Thus, applicants mus

GMAT exam is conducted online and at a test centre. Applicants can take the GMAT exam in either of the modes. Those who choose to take GMAT online would be required to pay USD 300, whereas, those opting for GMAT exam centre testing will have to pay USD 275.

Those who wish to take GMAT online will have to have a laptop with good internet speed and connection. Those testing at the centre will have to take the test on the device provided at the test centre itself.

In case a GMAT test centre is available test centre option will appear during registration. Applicants must keep in mind that they will have to first decide their test centre availability based on their GMAT exam date. Once the two match, the applicant can complete the registration. The GMAT test center availability may differ based on the date of exam chosen by the applicant, thus, there may be a seat available or there may not be an availability also. Thus, applicants should check all options before making a decision.

There is an option to choose up to three GMAT Focus exam centres in one go while registering for the exam. But this is for the purpose of comparing the test exam centres based on dates of exam. Once test centre and GMAT exam dates match, applicants can choose their exam centre and appear for their exam.

Students must be aware of what all they can bring and what all is not allowed at a GMAT test centre. Students are not allowed to bring food, drink, and candy with them (unless these have been approved in the GMAT testing accommodation). In addition to these, students cannot bring firearms, knives, or any other weapon-like object. Students are allowed to bring a valid identity document, an appointment confirmation letter or email (received from Pearson VUE), eyeglasses, light sweater or light non-outerwear jacket, and any other comfort item (only if they have been approved in the GMAT testing accommodation).

If a candidate has booked a slot at the test center it cannot be rescheduled to a different mode for that attempt. Candidates need to book the GMAT online exam again to attempt the test online. When it comes to GMAT slot booking, we advise that candidates show caution. Before you decide your GMAT exam date, make sure to go through the different study abroad intakes, MBA or MIM admission deadlines, your current GMAT preparation level, time required to reach your desired GMAT score, time required to prepare your admission documents (SOP, LORs, Admission Essays, etc.), etc.
