The examination pattern of both CAT and GRE are more or less similar or not similar based on the point of view. Both the examinations are for the students pursuing buisness management studies . 

The major difference between CAT and GRE is the acceptance, CAT is an examination for admission in business schools across India while GRE is accepted worldwide. 

Subjects in GRE are Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning. 

Subjects in CAT are Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR).

There is no standard cut off for the GMAT examination. It is decided individually by the universities. On the majority a score of 700 is accepted by most Universities. A candidate scoring above which is considered as a good or competent one . 

GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test, it is an entrance examination for the candidates who are willing to pursue management or other business degrees. 

GMAT focuses on Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Integrated Reasoning (IR), and Analytical Writing (AWA). 

Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly for each of these sections.

GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test, it is an entrance examination for students willing to pursue Masters in business management or other programs in business schools . 

The first GMAT 2023 Focus Edition examination was conducted on November 7th 2023. Registration process began on August 29, 2023. 

The average GMAT score for the year 2023 was 582.34 . 

Over 2,00,000 candidates appear for the GMAT examination every year. 

As effective from February 2024, the examination will be conducted based on the new GMAT Focus Edition format only.

GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test, which is an entrance examination for the students willing to pursue management or other Business programs in reputed business schools. 

GMAT examination authorities recommend the candidates to do the advanced slot bookings in order to avoid any inconvenience and unavailability of slot . 

Candidates are advised to book their slots at least two to three months prior to the examination date.

As effective from February 1, 2024 . Candidate's can only appear for the new GMAT Focus Edition examination.

It is not a news that GMAT is a popular and widely appeared examination among students. Here are some reasons why - 

• Scholarships: This examination is not for the students who take studies lightly. One has to very good and sincere in studies to crack GMAT Examination, due to which, candidates are offered many scholarships by authorities based on this examination's score . 

• Validity: While most buisness school entrance examination scores are valid for 2-3 years , GMAT Examination scores are valid for five years.

It totally depends upon the candidate's acadmic strengths and weaknesses that which one would be easier for them . If the candidates prefers to go for less geometrical problems, then GMAT would be a wiser choice as the former has less geometrical problems than GRE. however, if the candidates prefers to go for less quantitatively tricky section then , GRE should be their target examination. The verbal and writing sections would be hard nuts in GRE examination than in GMAT Examination.

As such, there is no minimum requirement for Duke University MBA course. But, according to the Class Profile of 2025, the GMAT score range is 670 – 760. Other MBA course admission requirements are:

  • Academic transcripts
  • Essays
  • 1-page Business resume
  • Letters of recommendation
  • GMAT/ GRE scores

To be eligible for admission to Georgetown University's full-time MBA program, applicants must submit the results of the GMAT, GRE, or Executive Assessment. The average GMAT score of incoming McDonough students is 697.
The following test results are accepted into the Full-time MBA program: GMAT, GRE, and Executive Assessment (valid tests completed within the previous five years). GMAT and GRE expired scores. Those who fit the requirements can apply without taking the test.

For one year Penn State MBA, GMAT score is not required. This is a STEM-designated program. Other The Pennsylvania State University – University Park admission requirements for MBA course are given below:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • TOEFL score of 80 / IELTS with a score of 7.0
  • Academic transcripts
