The university considers entrance exams such as MAH CET, MHT CET, CAT, MAT, JEE Main, etc. for admission to BE, MBA, BPharm and other courses. The merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam is considered for BCom, MCom, BCA, BBA, etc. Once selected, the university releases a merit list on the university website.

At the UG level, Gondwana University offers a Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) course to its students. Admission to B.A. at Gondwana University does not require any entrance exams. In order to be admitted to JBIMS, applicants must score in the 99.97–99.98 percentile on the MAH MBA CET in 2024. Exams MAH CET/ CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ GMAT is accepted for admission to the MBA course at the university. A bachelors' degree of minimum 3-Years after 10+2 examination, from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD). Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible, provided they have a certificate from the head of the college. A valid cut-off score of CAT/GMAT. PGCET Passing Marks for MBA admission: The minimum marks to be attained should be at least 50 percent (for candidates belonging to the general category) and 45 percent (for candidates belonging to the SC / ST category).
