You'll have to fill one form for lateral entry admission in engineering. In that, you'll have to choose the college. If you have been selected there then you'll have to move for DVC Locking. There is no any direct admission process. After the form submission, you'll get the college for which you are eligible.

See, for this Year there was MHT-CET for all the Government Colleges in Maharashtra. But, for next year i.e. 2018, there will be only JEE a single National Exam for Engineering Admission. To get a Government college of Engineering for any branch you have to give Entrance Exam. For this year, it was MHT-CET from next year it is JEE. Your Score should be high means very high to get Government Colleges. Then, fill the CAP rounds admissions (JOSSA for JEE) form. Chose the Colleges and Branches as per preference. Yes, electrical engineering is available at the Government College of Engineering but the course is B.Tech not BE.

Hello Vishal,
You have managed to obtain just 62 marks in MHTCET. With such low scores I feel getting a govt college is quite tough. You may get admission in one of the private college.

Hello Prince,
You have not mentioned from which state you are. But generally speaking you will have to appear for CET of your state and then apply through some form of counselling process.

You require at-least 150 marks to admission in COEP but because you belong to SC category, 130 will be enough for you in MHT CET.
