Candidates belonging to the unreserved categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit. The category-wise age relaxation given to candidates are given below:
Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST)-By 5 years, I. e. up to 33 years
Other Backward Classes (OBC)-By 3 years, I. e. up to 31 years
Persons with Disabilities (PWD)-By 10 years (GEN/ EWS), 13 years (OBC) & 15 years (SC/ST)
Ex-Servicemen-To the extent of service rendered by them in Armed
Forces plus an additional period of 3 years subject to
maximum of 50 years
Widows/divorced women/ women judicially separated who are not re-married-By 10 years
Candidates domiciled in the state

SBI Clerk exam is conducted for recruitment of candidates for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales). SBI PO exam is conducted for the recruitment of probationary officers. SBI Clerk syllabus is divided into prelims and Mains exams. SBI PO syllabus is divided into prelims exam, Mains exam, psychometric test, group exercises and interview. The difficulty level of SBI PO is easier than SBI Clerk.

SBI Clerk exam is conducted annually by the State Bank of India. The exam is conducted for selection of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales). Selected candidates are posted to the various branches of SBI spread throughout the country. SBI Clerk salary is INR 19,900 (INR 17,900 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). Yes, SBI Clerk can apply for SBI PO exam. However, to apply for SBI Clerk exam, candidates need to take permission from the employer. They are also required to provide NOC of the employer. Upon selection, candidates need to resign from the Clerical cadre post and join afresh as PO. No increment will be considered that is your clerical service won't be counted. Yes, all IGNOU degrees are valid for any purpose, whether you are appearing for any entrance exams or employment exams. It has recognition at the national as well as international levels. IGNOU is a recognized university under the UGC and a government university. Adding further, an IGNOU degree is approved by the Distance Education Bureau (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as well. Additionally, IGNOU provides free UPSC CSE coaching to scheduled caste candidates at no cost. Every year, IGNOU invites applications from scheduled caste students for free coaching of UPSC IAS (prelims and mains).
