Banking aspirants often search which career option will provide better opportunities to them, SBI PO or IBPS PO. The difference mainly lies in terms of career prospects, salary and work environment.

The job profile of SBI PO and IBPS PO is similar. Probationary Officers in SBI are engaged in the following activities.

• The most important work of the PO is customer service. This includes solving queries of customers.
• POs are directly engaged in customer handling.
• Some other responsibilities include maintaining reports, official correspondence with other departments, etc.

Comparison between IBPS PO and SBI PO salary-

• SBI offers a good compensation package to the Probationary Officers. The total compensation per annum on CTC basis is minimum Rs 8.20 Lacs and maximum Rs 13.08 Lacs it depends on place of posting and other factors.
• The basic salary of IBPS PO is Rs 23,700. The employee is entitled to HRA, DA, Special Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance apart from basic salary. The gross pay of IBPS PO is Rs 38,703 per month.

Firstly, it should be noted that an RBI Grade B officer is a job, while on the other side, MBA is an academic degree.

The scope of RBI Grade B officer in the future-

1.It is fixed to Finance and Banking

2.Exposure of various field related to Finance & Banking in which RBI involves.
3. RBI gives the scholarship sometimes for higher study

To apply for the RBI Grade B officer position, candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the examination authority.

Below are the minimum eligibility criteria to become an RBI grade B officer-

• Educational qualification: The educational qualification for the General post is graduation with 60 per cent and 50 per cent for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. 
• The candidate must be a Indian citizen
• For the DSIM/DEPR post, the educational qualification is 55 per cent and 50 per cent for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
• Age limit: The minimum age of candidates is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years.
