You can take the CDS exam if you meet the age requirement and other UPSC requirements. Unlike other UPSC exams, there is no limit to the number of attempts you can make. To apply for the CDS exam in whichever cycle you are applying to, you must be under the age of 25. There are two exam cycles: January and July. You must be a graduate to apply for the CDS. Also, your age must be less than 24 years for IMA, AFA, and INA. This is 25 years for OTA. As long as you fulfill this criteria, you can apply for the CDS exam.

Yes, you can apply for the CDS exam even if your percentage is 35%. There is no minimum percentage requirement for applying for CDS. As per the UPSC notification, you need to have graduated from a recognised university. You must also be under the age of 25 to be eligible to apply. Your percentage won't affect your application. However, you may have a difficult question regarding your low academic score on the SSB. The board will require you to justify your lower percentile in graduation. As long as you are well prepared to face this, you can sail through this exam.

For example, you can SEE questions on Article 32 in different years framed differently. From the analysis of the previous year's question paper, it can be concluded that important themes get revisited in CDS. This is the same for GK, math, and English papers.
