You need at least three to six months to prepare both papers, taking the syllabus into account. The General Knowledge section is relatively vast, whereas the English . Paper has a limited syllabus. You can balance these papers by making a proper study schedule for each one. For instance, you can study for two hours for GK, then, after a short break, study English .
