There are many career options in defense field after graduation in Maths, economics and statistics like
IMA - Indian military academy, Dehradun.
Any graduate candidate can apply for IMA through CDSE (combined defense services examination). UPSC conducts CDSE twice a year. Through CDSE, you get a chance to apply for all 3 forces. In application form, you have to give preference to IMA, INA, IAFA, and OTA. IMA trains only male candidates. For IMA, a candidate should have studied Maths in his graduation.

IITJEE is difficult to clear it. Selection in IIT JEE is based on written exam only while that in NDA is based on written + 6 days SSB Interview + Stringent Medical Test. IIT JEE does not test a candidates leadership skills but NDA does. The no. Of seats in NDA (around 320) is much lower than IIT JEE. Although candidates appearing is also less.
