You should pursue your graduation with maths. It will help you a lot as you won't be worrying about any maths problem, which are quite difficult for any arts student. Geography, economics and history are the most required subjects so prepare them well.

Types of questions which are asked is depends upon the sector you are choosing. Some general syllabus section for any government or defense entrance exam such as NDA asked are-
English: Basic knowledge of English. I would say upto class 10th.
Mathematics: Yes, it is important that you prepare for mathematics using NCERT class 11th and class 12th class books. Use all that you can and prepare well for the mathematics section.
