Both the professions are good. If you are interested in serving the country as an army officer, then NDA is best. If you want to serve the people within the country directly, then civil services are good choice for you. Best of luck.

You can join an academy and start preparing as you have so much time. You can cover basics of syllabus using NCERT books from 6-12th standard.

You can directly prepare for IAS rather going for a post-graduation, because UPSC doesn't give an advantage for being a post graduate.

UPSC accepts degree awarded by both UGC approved university and AICTE approved college.

You can apply for this exam for 3 times.

SSC has invited application for various posts in 2016 for recruiting postal/ sorting assistant court clerks and LDC/DEO on 5134 posts the online form is available from 8 October 2016.

You can't get Computer Science Engineering in this college with 63 percentile in JEE Mains exam. Although you can get branches like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical in this college, that also in second or third round. So apply for this college and wait patiently for the same.
