General Studies:
It has a good mix of static and topical questions, with some bordering on niche (see past papers to know what I mean!). For candidates appearing for CSE, this portion becomes easy to handle with some answer writing practice. But for those who are preparing solely for IFS exam, here is my recommended booklist (please feel free to add as per your self-SWOT analysis, but don't go overboard with booklist). Making short write-ups on issues like GM crops, climate change really helps in the end for revision purpose. Also, answer-writing practice is amustfor all in the period between Prelims and Mains. There are basically 4 ways to become officer in IAF. NDA that's stand for National Defence Academy which is conducted by UPSC twice a year. This exam is conducted on class 12th level. AFCAT Exam which is conducted by IAF twice a year. This exam is conducted on graduation level. From this exam you can opt for flying, technical and ground duty. CDS exam which is conducted by UPSC twice a year conducted on gradation level. NCC exam which is for NCC Cadets having C certificate. Hope your doubts are solved.

The minimum amount required as fee will be around Rs. 1 lac and the maximum it can be up to Rs.2 lac, depending upon the institute and its location.

1)- S. C ENGLISH by Ajay kumar singh (previous paper till 2015)
2)- R. C, Cloze test and Sentence rearrangement By Dilip Kushwaha ( very important for Practice)
3)- Plinth to Paramount by Neetu singh
4)-Advance Math by Rakesh Yadav (Most Useful). .
