SSC CGL is a prestigious examination conducted for various group B and group C jobs for Central government. Group B posts such as ITI, Central excise etc. can promote you to Group A (IRS) after few years of service. Also they are very prestigious jobs which earn you prestige in the society. After the 7th pay you get a handsome salary upon joining these jobs.

You can do these things to prepare seriously:
Relax: One of the best things to do. People are posting questions should I leave my job to prepare for SSC CGL. And Which coaching I should join to clear SSC CGL. I mean, that's ridiculous. It's not CAT, UPSC or IIT JEE for which you have to leave your job or get enrolled in some kind of course. If you are from ISC/ICSE board then English is going to be a calk walk for you. Well, staying in Patna, people always do think that no one would be able to crack any exam and they would be left with both the legs on two boats at the same time but this is the up-trending apocryphal.

You just need to apply for NDA exam. If you clear written you have to clear SSB interview from air force selection board. If you are then medically fit, then you will get your joining letter for NDA.

It's a good choice only if you wanted to make your career in defense and willingly wanted to experience a faulty lifestyle. After class 12th the only option you have is to apply for NDA and if you get selected you would be made a pilot in IAF.
