Since you haven't mentioned anything about your academic qualification. I will tell you about the examination conducted for recruitment of CBI officer in Non-Technical Department. To write the exam, you must be a graduate in any discipline. The examination is conducted by the staff selection commission, known as combined graduate level examination and to be eligible for it, you must be within the age limit of 18-27 years. For more information, refer to the official website of Staff Selection Commission.

Hello Shalini,
Frankly, I am confused. Ok. It seems you have registered for PhD but not completed it. Right? See if you have registered but could not complete PhD, then after certain years it automatically gets cancelled if you do no research work and do not seek extension. But if you have obtained PhD then it remains with you lifelong. Now, yes, you indeed can show your registration but what value it is? I am afraid, it has not much value.

Not all private colleges grant admission in the 2nd year. You first need to decide on the college and check if they have any such provision of granting admission in the 2nd year. Admissions also depend on the availability of seats.
