B.A. In history would help in your dream of becoming an IAS Officer. The idea here is to choose a Stream that helps you to prepare for IAS too. B.A. In History should help as IAS exam usually asks a lot of history questions. You can also pursue BA+LLB for same reason. You could pursue B.Sc. If you want but that won't help as much.

By start studying today. Dedicate 7-8 hours of a day on studies. Join a coaching. Practice sample papers and keep giving same level exams to test yourself. Keep in mind there is no other option than working hard for the civil services.
