The candidates should be between 19 and 23 years as on July 1, 2015.
Educational qualification:
The candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognised university. The candidates should have obtained at least 60 per cent marks in the same. Also, the candidates should have had Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level. or the candidates should possess a four-year BE/ B.Tech degree from a recognised university with 60 per cent marks.
Physical Standards:
Height and Weight: Minimum height: 162.5 cms with correlated weight, Leg Length: Min - 99 cms.
Max - 120 cms. Thigh Length: Max - 64 cms. Sitting Height: Min - 81.5 cms. Max - 96 cms
Vision:
Minimum Visual Acuity 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other, correctable to 6/6 only for Hypermetropia.
Manifest Myopia - Nil
LASIK Surgery for correction of vision is admissible in Transport and Helicopter streams of Short Service Commission (Flying Branch) if the following conditions are fulfilled at the time of Air Force medical examination: (I) LASIK Surgery should not have been carried out before the age of 20 years. (ii) The axial length of the eye should not be more than 25.5 mm as measured by IOL master. (iii) At least twelve months should have lapsed post uncomplicated stable LASIK. No history or evidence of any complication. The post LASIK corneal thickness as measured by a corneal tachymeter should not be less than 450 microns. (v) Individuals with high refractive errors (&get;6D) prior to LASIK are to be excluded.
Candidates must not suffer from colour or night blindness.

The maximum age limit of candidates who are applying for ONGC Graduate Trainee should be 30 years as on 01st January 2018.
Educational Qualification
Candidate who have minimum 60% in Graduation Engineering/Science in relevant disciplines; For Programming Officer: Pass in B' level Diploma as defined by Dept. of Electronics and GOI.
Selection Process (a) GATE-2018: The desirous and eligible candidates are required to apply online and appear in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2018. The GATE 2018 Online registration close on 05th October 2017. (b) Candidates possessing the requisite qualification for the advertised posts is required to apply and appear in the GATE-2018 in requires subjects only.
The GATE-2018 Score in the subject mentioned against the posts of ONGC will be considered by ONGC for shortlisting the candidates for the further selection process of Personal Interview as per the criteria decided by the Management.
