You will have to give CAT exam, only then you will get to know your chances of getting selected for IIM, Ahemdabad. For clearing CAT, you need to be smart, not knowledgeable, and according to me, Indian Army officers are always more than smart. There were many army officers who joined the army and continued their studies too and retired from higher posts. Solve more and more CAT papers and do give IQ tests (Standford Binet or Culture ), giving IQ tests will help you overcome all your fears.

In order to be eligible to apply for UPSC SCRA exam, candidates should have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a Government of India recognized board or university with a minimum of second division. They should have studied Mathematics and either one of Physics or Chemistry subject or both. All candidates should be between 17 to 21 years of age as on August 1, 2017. However, age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
