Hi,
B.Tech has nothing to do with civil services and there is a separate examination to become civil servant. However, for some experienced position they prefer engineering graduate or post graduate.

This is not a problem.
Just opt a degree of Computer Science, study for 4 years. If your mind change to stay in the computer science, then go ahead and if not, then go for civil service by giving examination after graduation.
Don't be confused, go for CS, and then for civil services.

After clearing CDS you can continue with your regular studies until you join training at IMA or OTS. Once you join training at IMA or OTS, you may continue with your studies on completion of your cadet training as external a candidate. You may not get any leave to appear for examination after training starts. You can appear in exams as external candidates during official breaks or holidays in training. Once, you get commission, you can take necessary approvals from your Commanding Officer to continue with further education.
