Quantitaive Aptitude is divided into 5 parts:
1. Arithmetic (Includes Percentages, Simple-Compound Interest, Profit-loss discount, Ratios, proportions, mixtures allegations, time-speed-distance & time-work)
2. Algebra (Includes linear & quadratic equations, functions, logs, etc etc)
3. Geometry (Lines, angles, triangles, polygons, mensuration, 3-D geo etc etc)
4. Number System (includes classifications, surds, simplifications, remainders, cyclicity)
5. Modern Maths (Permutations, Combinations & Probability)
Now, depending upon your exam, few or all of the above-mentioned topics would be asked. If you analyse carefully, most of the topics are usually covered in school classes from 6th to 10th standard. So if you have a good amount of time, start with NCERTs and do all the solved and unsolved questions in it. Time is not a factor over here. This is to understand all the concepts thoroughly.
Then move on to other books (maybe Quantitative Aptitude by RS Aggarwal). DO the questions of this book by clicking yourself. A good speed would be 1 question per minute. This will really help you to recall all the formulas and their applications. To achieve the above-mentioned speed, you really would be required to focus a lot.
You can do the above-mentioned steps as the foundation.
Finally, pick up a relevant book to your exam like Arun Sharma/ Nishith Sinha for CAT. In this slowly move up the difficulty level. From solved questions to Level-1 difficult to more difficult ones. Also, start doing previous year's questions papers especially the Quant section within the time limits.
Remember you CANNOT cram the questions. Make sure you do each question by hand and put more time on questions that you were not able to solve. Spend less time on questions/ topics that are your favourite. Move outside of your comfort zone.

Income Tax Officer Exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit the Income Tax Officer.
Those candidates have completed graduation degree from recognised university are eligible for Income Tax Officer exam.
To become Income Tax Officer you have to pass the Civil Services Exam conducted by the Union Public.
Also, your age should be in between 18 years to 25 years.
The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
The examination is conducted two ways (I) Written examination (ii) Interview for Personality Test for such candidates as may qualify in the written test.

There are many posts available for candidates in the CID. Their level of entry is determined by their qualification. The minimum qualification required for a candidate to join as a Assistant sub Inspector in the CID is a pass in class 12. If one aspires to join as a Sub Inspector, he/she should have cleared graduation. Graduation is the requirement for officer level post as well. Course in criminology is an added advantage to the post. There are many universities in India that offers courses in criminology. The basic qualification for this course is a pass in class 10+2 with arts or science. For those candidates who have a background in law, special courses in criminology are available.
The role requires a sharp eye for detail, excellent memory, a good judgment of character as well as experience of working alone and as part of a team of other officers.
Recruitment
There are two ways to enter into Criminal Investigation Department. One is direct from the state police force through promotion. For this first after graduation join police service then you will be posted/transferred or promoted to CID wing as per your track record or by seniority whichever is preferred by the seniors. To become a CID officer one should require to have at least two years as a uniformed officer. After that you can apply for the transfer to CID office post, there you will be trained. While training they will refer you as Trainee Constable. The training will be of 2 years, after training you will become a fully fledged Constable. Other option is to write Indian Civil Services examination that is held by the Union Public Service Commission. The notification for the examination is published on the official website of UPSC which the candidates should read for any information. Examination comprises of written test, interview and physical test. One must have detailed knowledge on current happenings in the society in order to succeed in interview.

There are many modes through which you can join ISRO as a scientist or an engineer. After 12th or during 12th, you can appear for IIST exam (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Trivandrum). To know details of this exam please see the IIST web sitewww.iist.ac.in. IIST graduates above a certain pass percentage cut off in final B Tech exam are directly absorbed in ISRO system as Scientist/Engineer -SC grade.
One can also join ISRO after finishing B Tech from the university system. For this, they have to appear for ISRO centralised recruitment. The advertisement for this is often published in national newspapers.
You can also join ISRO after completing M.Sc, M.Tech and Ph.D. in science subjects like physics, maths, electronics, geology, geophysics, etc. Advertisement for such positions also given in national newspapers.

Recommended:It is best to take UPSC examinations as soon as you are eligible. Once you decide to opt for this career it is essential to consider alternative careers as a safety net and avoid the dilemma of being 30 years old and taking your fourth attempt without any other job in hand.

COMPARISON
Now if we compare both the jobs, then both are prestigious jobs in Govt. providing you incentives, money. Now, it depends on you what you want in your life. If you want to gain some power of administration in your hand and also want money, then surely you must go for SSC-CGL because in PO job you are not given any power related to administration. And if you want to earn much money in your life then surely go for bank PO job. Now, here I am describing some points where you can get some idea why I would say that SSC-CGL jobs are much better than Bank PO jobs.
1.In SSC surely you will get less money than PO job, but stats say that employs working in SSC are more satisfied with their job as compared to PO jobs.
2.PO has to work much more. He can be posted anywhere in India and does not have time for there family. He has to more after the bank hours also to achieve their targets. Even sometimes due to the load of work they had to work even on Saturday. This does not happen with SSC employees.
3.PO has to deal with money which is risky. If any wrong transaction happened or there is some calculation in money then he has to pay for that which could be the big amount.
4.You will not be provided with any power in PO job. You have the power within the banking circle only.
5.Bank PO is not a Gazetted Officer whereas SSC low post is also a Gazette Officer.
6.In SSC there is very less possibility of posting in rural areas but in PO job some or the other time you will be posted in the rural area.
Again it is a personal choice. If you have an interest in the Banking sector, go for it. If you do not like hectic like and want a peaceful job with power, go for CGL. People say that CGL is any day better than banks.
