To be eligible for a BTech programme at Government Engineering College Valsad candidates and need to have pass their 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in the general category and 40% for Reserve categories they also need to have physics chemistry and mathematics course subject additionally qualifying in the GUJCET exam is a requirement for admission

To join B.E. / B.Tech in Government Engineering College, Valsad, one must pass 10+2 globally or mathematics, chemistry, physics, and must score 45 percent or 40 percent (for reserved categories) in B.E. / B.Tech and must have a valid GUJCET or JEE Main score. Further entry is done by centralised ACPC counselling in Gujarat. The institute has about 420 total seats which are distributed within fundamental engineering courses.
