Hello,
268 marks is very less for admission into medical colleges of India. For government medical colleges you need around 500 and for private colleges you need around 400.

NEET is the only gateway for admission into MBBS and BDS courses in India. For government colleges you need a NEET score of 70% in general category.

Semi government colleges are those colleges which are half private and half government. Those colleges are not directly run by the government but are under the control of government. Semi government colleges enjoy a certain degree of independence too which is not enjoyed by government colleges. Following are the list of some semi governmental colleges in India:
IIIT Gwalior
JNU Delhi
